Festival Dias de Música Electroacústica @ Logos Foundation Gent, Belgium June, 2014 The festival Dias de Música Electroacústica (DME) is an itinerant festival that began in Poland in 2003 with artistic direction of Jaime Reis. With over 30 editions in Portugal and abroad (Poland, Brazil, Spain, Philippines, etc), it celebrates this edition with long time collaborator and important institution - Logos Foundation, having had curated concerts by this institution in previous editions of DME. This edition is dedicated to argentinian composer Mario Mary and portuguese composer João Pedro Oliveira. The concert includes electroacoustic music, video music and the soloist of Ensemble Collegium Musicum Electroacústico, violinist Joana Guerra, will perform Mario Mary's music and the world premiere of Magma, a new piece commissioned to emeritus composer João Pedro Oliveira by DME.
